Compliance monitoring at Saarbrücken Airport

January 2020 | Certification

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 139/2014 and the associated EASA guideline AMC & GM to Part-ADR.AR/OR/OPS, aerodrome operators are required to maintain a process for monitoring compliance with EU/EASA requirements (so-called Compliance Monitoring) as part of the management system. This is to ensure that all organizational and operational procedures and processes as well as the entire airport infrastructure continuously comply with the EASA requirements and thus a sufficient level of flight operational safety can always be guaranteed. GfL has been commissioned by the Flug-Hafen-Saarland GmbH as operator of Saarbrücken Airport to carry out the compliance monitoring. For this purpose, our proven software Airport Conformance Monitor is used, which allows a systematic and complete examination and monitoring of the organizational and operational structures as well as the infrastructure.
