GfL awarded contract for EASA compliance check of rescue and firefighting services at Saarbrücken Airport

On behalf of Flug-Hafen-Saarland GmbH, GfL examines the rescue and firefighting services (RFFS) at Saarbruecken Airport for EASA conformity. The focus is on organizational and operational aspects of checking in accordance with EASA AMC & GM to Part-ADR.OR/OPS and also on infrastructure requirements with regard to RFFS in accordance with EASA CS-ADR-DSN. On the basis of these EASA guidelines, the analysis of the vehicles used, their equipment and other devices as well as the examination of the RFFS personnel with regard to number of employees, qualification/training etc. is carried out. Results are expected at the end of this year.
